Description [You must be root to Install this package]. CAML Light is a version of the CAML programming language, which is derived from the functional programming language ML. This package will install a CAML Light interactive interpreter, batch byte-code compiler, and code libraries. Documentation will be loaded into the /usr/local/doc/caml-light directory. Total size taken up by the system is only half a megabyte, NOT counting the 850K, 120 page, postscript file/tutorial which will be loaded in /usr/local/doc/caml-light (the sys admin will probably want to compress or delete this file). This version of CAML-Light was compiled on June 1, 1991, with only slight changes to the MakeFiles from the source at nuri.inria.fr (128.93.1.26).
