- These files should replace the original Methodist_FAT files
- in the archive.
-
- Methodist 1.05
- (12/14/93)
- Methodist now can parse RTF source files (not RTFD though),
- and ignores lines that begin with more than one dash.
-
- (12/9/93)
- .m files can now be opened even if there are no methods.
- The application does not become the active app unless the title
- bar is clicked on. This avoids some unnecessary menu-switches.
-
- Methodist.app
-
- Methodist allows a quick oversight of the methods in a .m file and
- lets a user simply select the method of interest. Edit.app will then
- open the .m file to the desired method. A single Methodist window
- will browse all of the .m files for a directory. Multiple windows can
- be open at once.
-
- Simply install Methodist into a directory that is in your path, and it
- will be made available as the default application to handle .m files
- if you set it as the default in the Tools/Inspector.../Tools control.
- (E.g. /LocalLibrary, ~/Apps, etc. - the standard search path)
- .m files can then be opened with a double click from the file browser.
- Pick the method you want the file open to, and you're there.
-
- More information is available in the online help.
