  3. STORY: Written in the spring of 1993, this document was created to
  4. help me manage the many, many printing jobs I was doing regarding
  5. the 3.x NS dev docs.  This little puppy saved me many pages of
  6. paper, and I got 2 sided print out of the deal.  Can't beat that,
  7. save a tree and eat a beaver.

  9. The PageMergeAndPrint.sense document does two things.  It allows
  10. you to take .ps files and print alternating pages.  The limitation
  11. is that the .ps file needs to have been produced from the "Save"
  12. option in the Print Panel.  The second page of this utility document
  13. allows you to "Merge" .ps files into one.  I have had 60-70% success
  14. with it, and most of the time .ps files generated from Preview (ie.
  15. saving from the Preview print panel) do NOT work.  So keep trying
  16. and experimenting.  The rule of thumb is, if you can print to a
  17. .ps file from your application, do so.  It will likely work to
  18. merge such documents.
