  1.   This is part of the NeXT ProAudioSpectrum 16 sound card driver
  2. that is modified to allow the Internal CD-Audio jack to let sound
  3. through. If you have a CD-ROM drive and want to play audio CDs through
  4. your PAS16 sound card this is the file you need to do it.
  5.   I have also included the modified source file in case anyone wants it
  6. or knows a better way to do it then what I have done. There are 3 files
  7. in this package:

  9. PAS_ForAudioCD.README        this text file
  10. ProAudioSpectrum_reloc        the modified part of the driver
  11. ProAudioSpectrumInline.h    the modified source file
  12.  
  13.   The ProAudioSpectrum_reloc file needs to be copied to the 
  14. /NextLibrary/Devices/ProAudioSpectrum.config/ directory. Then just reboot
  15. and the change should take effect.
  16.   The source file goes in the ProAudioSpectrum_reloc.tproj/ subdirectory
  17. of the 3.2 /NextDeveloper/Examples/Driverkit/ProAudioSpectrum directory.
  18. Then a make clean, and make to get ProAudioSpectrum_reloc.
