  6. With this CD-ROM collection you get the biggest software archive available
  7. for computers running NEXTSTEP or OPENSTEP. No other collection features
  8. this wide range of programs and such a completeness of available software.
  9.  
  10. Some things are only available on this CD-ROM like e.g. indexed Usenet
  11. news since 1989 and certain programs.
  12.  
  13. Please read the documents in the Legal and Contents directories for more
  14. details about these CD-ROMs.

  16. Notice that in most cases the software on this CD-ROM in is *not* in the
  17. public domain! Furthermore the disk set is copyrighted by the Peanuts
  18. archive administrators. Read COPYING_POLICY in the 'Legal' directory.

  22. Basic Apps: applications you may want to copy to your private 'Apps' directory
  23.             for a comfortable access to the CD-ROM set. (gnutar and gzip might
  24.             only be useful for people running NEXTSTEP 3.2 or earlier)

  26.             file listing.
  27. FAQs:       Indexed FAQs related to NEXTSTEP/OPENSTEP.
  28. Legal:      Legal notices about this CD-ROM set.
  29. NoSD:       The NEXTSTEP/OPENSTEP software database. Sorry, but there is no
  30.             application to access the database directly. For a more comfortable
  31.             access please use http://peanuts.leo.org/
  32. READMEs:    all available README files with an index. Note that there are
  33.             programs on the CD-ROM set for which no README file exist!
