  1.      You can draw the outline of the item that you want to create and then select its TYPE from the TYPES menu. This has the effect of a NEW.

  3.      If the outline you draw is smaller than the default, the default size for the item will be used and your box will determine its position.

  5.      If your outline is too small it will be interpreted as a  mouse click.

  7.      A group of items can be selected by shift-clicking.
