  The black little kitten, Jiji, continues
on his journey in search of the country of fish.
A few days ago, as he was eagerly chasing after
a fish flying by, he found himself in a forest
he has never been before.  He paused for
a moment and surveyed his surroundings.
It was a dark deep forest indeed.  But,
he felt excited at the new adventure
waiting for him.

that the fishes swam, they probably passed
through this forest.

in this forest. Be verrry careful of it.

from his mouth.
  Throw that berry into the wolf's  mouth.

crying by the roadside.

I was on my way to deliver this apple pie
to my grandma, who live in this forest.
But a greedy looking dog suddenly jumped
in front of me. I ran and escaped, but I
tumbled and scraped my leg will running.

[Jiji]
  You'll be alright. It's only a small
scratch. Just go over to a brook
and clean the dirt off.
  I'll deliver the apple pie for you.
Just return and wait here.
[Little girl]
 Thank you very much. Granny's house is
to the west.
 (After handing Jiji the apple pie, the
little girl went to the brook.)

[Granny]

[Granny]
  To see you much better with, dear.
[Jiji]
  Hee, hee. Then why do you have such
a big mouth?

[Wolf]
  to eat you much better with!
(with that, the wolf, disguising as granny,
 jumped out of the bed and leaped on top of
 Jiji!!)

  Help!!!
(Jiji didn't even have a chance to blink
his eyes. The wolf devoured him up.)

 the Hotextreme berry into the wolf's

help her out.

I pulled you out from the wolf's stomach...

We must teach this wolf a lesson.
(They went outside and picked some large
 stones, put them into the wolf's stomach,
 and sewed the stomach up.)
[Granny]
  He'll be surprised when he wakes up.

[Jiji]
  This will teach the wolf a lesson.

got away from that wolf.  I was so
worried, that I ran all the way over
here.

being hurt like that.

We were lucky...

[Jiji]
  It wasn't so much trouble... Please
live with each other and have a happy life.

[Granny]
  The wolf seems to have gotten fed up
and moved out of this forest. When I
looked this morning, there were some
big footprints leading out of the forest.
We could live peacefully again.
[Little red riding hood]
  It not too much, but as a token of our
gratitude, please accept this...
(The little red riding handed Jiji her
 handkerchief)

[Jiji]
  Thank you. (blush)
  I'll better get going. Bye-bye.

 to cut the wolf's stomach. When it was
 opened, granny fell out - still alive!)

  I left the little red riding hood and
granny to continue on with this journey.
The forest seems to continue growing ever
deeper.

What could be waiting for me - in a
forest this deep?  I might still just
be at the edge of it....



  I see a mountain over there - some
distance away.  Could the country of
fish be that way. Or could it be...
