  3.                      -- IMPORTANT NOTICE --

  5. This program requires the file VBRUN300.DLL in your \windows\system
  6. directory.  This file is probably available from the same place
  7. that you found this program.  In fact, since many programs require
  8. this file, you may already have it.
  9.  
  10.                  -- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS --
  11.  
  12. Method 1 (Easy Method) - Place all the files in the GOODSOL2.ZIP 
  13. in the same directory.  The name of the directory does not matter.
  14.  
  15. Method 2 (Harder Method) - Place the files GOODSOL2.EXE,
  16. GOODSOL2.HLP, FILE_ID.DIZ, README.1ST, and VENDOR.DOC in the same
  17. directory.  The file QCARD.DLL can go in the same directory with
  18. the other files or in the \Windows directory.  The files CMDIALOG.VBX
  19. and VSFLEX.VBX can go in the same directory with the other files or
  20. in the \Windows\System directory  (You may already have a copy of
  21. CMDIALOG.VBX.  If you have a newer version already in your
  22. \Windows\System directory, don't replace it with the version in this 
  23. package).  The advantage to this method is that you can save hard 
  24. drive space if you have other programs that use CMDIALOG.VBX,
  25. VSFLEX.VBX or QCARD.DLL.

  27.                      -- RUNNING THE PROGRAM --
  28.  
  29. To run the games, run the file GOODSOL2.EXE.  To play a particular
  30. game, click on its name on the main screen.  To see the rules for
  31. a particular game, goto the help menu or press F1.  In most games,
  32. the cards can be moved by drag and drop.  Also, to quickly move a 
  33. card, try right-clicking on the card.

  35.                     -- IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM --
  36.  
  37. If the program doesn't run, most likely there is a DLL conflict with 
  38. the file QCARD.DLL.  Pretty Good Solitaire requires the version of 
  39. QCARD.DLL dated 2/15/94.  There are other programs that use a different
  40. version of this DLL.  If another version of QCARD.DLL exists in your
  41. /Windows directory, this can cause Pretty Good Solitaire not to run.

  46. This program is shareware.  Continued use of Pretty Good Solitaire 
  47. beyond a 30-day evaluation period requires registration.  Registration
  48. will bring you instructions on how to get rid of the registration
  49. reminder screens and other benefits (see the help file). To register,

  95. version 2.0a (2/17/96) - New feature: double-clicking on a card in
  96.    the tableau automatically moves it to the foundation, if possible.

  100.    Added many new features, such as tours, graphical card back
