-
- 4.1 Known Problems and Work Arounds
- ------------------------------------
-
- * The stability of CyberHub Client will be improved if the Netscape file
- (Java JustInTimeCompiler) jit3230.dll (<Netscape Directory>\Program\Java\bin)
- is renamed.
-
- ****
-
- Resizing the Netscape window during loading may cause Netscape to crash.
- Wait until the scene is completely loaded before attempting to resize.
-
- ****
-
- In highly populated worlds (with many avatars), CyberHub Client response to
- keyboard and mouse input may slow down.
-
- ****
-
- In some situations, avatars may appear to sink into the floor.
-
- ****
-
- If the network connection is unstable, an avatar will remain invisible
- if its loading was skipped.
-
- ****
-
- Under certain conditions, it may not be possible to beam to an avatar.
- This occurs when an avatar is being loaded or failed to load.
-
- ****
-
- Changing a scene may result in a black Live3D window. If this occurs, beam
- to other avatars or viewpoints. If this does not restore the window, reload
- the scene.
-
- ****
-
- If you get 'caught' by another avatar, which may occur with avatar collisions,
- use the beam or viewpoint features to release the avatar.
-
- ****
-
- You may encounter loading problems when entering worlds which are enhanced
- either by animations (i.e Live3D Spin-Nodes) or 3D sound (i.e iNTEL's RSX).
- It may help to turn off Live3D's animation capabilities by activating the
- "Navigation Bar" and clicking the green triangle on the left.

- Important Notes for CoolTalk users
- ----------------------------------
-
- CyberHub Client can be used together with CoolTalk on a 1:1 chat session.
- Therefore both chat partners must have CoolTalk installed and configured.
-
- This version of CyberHub Client can be used either with "Sound" or "Voice".
- Both options are currently supported simultaneously. You must enable "Voice"
- in the CyberHub Client "Options" panel in order to force a CoolTalk session
- once a 1:1 chat is setup. In this case CyberHub Client's sound capabilities
- are disabled automatically. In turn, enabling "Sound" disables "Voice" and
- consequently the automatic start-up of CoolTalk.
-
- You can have only one CoolTalk session with a 1:1 chat partner. Using the
- "Chat" button in the "People" panel only invokes a text chat session. Using
- the "Speak" button invokes a text chat session and additionally tries to start
- a CoolTalk session with the chat partner.
-
- An active CoolTalk session may be shut down if you start another 1:1 chat or
- perform a CyberCard exchange with another user.
-
- If you have CoolTalk connection problems using the CyberHub Client, you should
- increase the "Default Response Time" of CoolTalk from 20 seconds to a higher
- value.
