  1.    Before beginning Cannon Fodder for the first time, please view
  2. the file CANNON.DOC (To do this type: TYPE CANNON.DOC|MORE)
  3.    If you encounter problems running Cannon Fodder there may be
  4. insufficient low memory available.  Here's a possible way to solve
  5. the problem. Place a blank diskette into drive A of your computer.
  6. Then type:
  7.    FORMAT A: /S /U
  8. and press enter.  When the computer is finished, type:
  9.    EDIT A:\CONFIG.SYS
  10. and press ENTER.  Then type the following lines:
  11.  
  12.    DEVICE=C:\DOS\HIMEM.SYS
  13.    DOS=HIGH
  14.  
  15. Then press the following keys: ALT, F, X, Y. Reboot your computer
  16. leaving the disk in the A: drive.  Load your mouse driver.  Go to the
  17. Cannon Fodder directory and type INSTALL to install the game.  After
  18. installation, type CANNON to play the game.  Whenever you want to
  19. play Cannon Fodder, simply reboot your computer with the boot disk
  20. you've created.
