  11. I%1/2, cup, bitter chocolate, shaved

  13. I%3, large, eggs, (whites only)

  17. R%  Cream the sugar and lard; mix in the dry ingredients alternately
  18. R%with milk.  Add shaved chocolate that has been mixed with 1/3 cup
  19. R%sugar.  Add vanilla.  Fold in beaten egg whites last.  Bake at 350
  20. R%degrees for 30 minutes in a 9 x 13 pan.
