  7. This version also has a feature I wanted added.
  8. The ability to remember EVERYTHING!
  9.  
  10. I hated switching between FTP sites and having to keep
  11. entering the User ID & Password all the time... what a 
  12. waste of time. I wanted to have my FTP list saved, and
  13. when I click on an FTP address, I wanted the ID & Password
  14. entered automatically for me. So.. that's how it works!

  16. All the information is saved in a text data base so you can
  17. view the data at any time with any viewer (look in program
  18. folder for files).

  20. AND.. for those people who don't want it saved. Just click
  21. on the [Erase FTP List] button after each session to
  22. erase the data base (NOT sent to Trash bin). A new one
  23. will be created next time.

  25. But.. if no one touches your computer, it's very handy
  26. to have. The list will erase all duplicate addresses to
  27. keep the size down to a minimum.

  29. The next time you run FreeFTP, the list is automatically
  30. loaded and ready to go.

  32. Just click on an FTP address, then [connect].

  45. The above is just to let you know that it will keep
  46. your FTP passwords on your system. No big deal to
  47. most of us. But for those who share computers or
  48. systems, may not want others to access their FTP
  49. sites and should erase the list before they exit
  50. the program.
