  5. Program Description

  7. Occasionally you need to check the spelling of words in an application
  8. that does not include a spelling checker and you don't want to launch 
  9. your word processor just for that purpose. This is when tinySpell 
  10. becomes handy. It is a small utility that allows you to easily and 
  11. quickly check the spelling of words in any Windows application. 
  12. tinySpell monitors your typing on the fly and alerts you whenever it 
  13. detects a misspelled word. It also checks the spelling of every word 
  14. you copy to the clipboard. To correct a misspelled word click the
  15. tinySpell icon or press the hot-key to pop up a list of suggested 
  16. replacement words from which you can select a correction.
  17. tinySpell installs itself in the system tray for easy access. 
  18. It comes with an American-English dictionary containing more than 
  19. 110,000 words.

  21. tinySpell was developed by KEDMI Scientific Computing who is also 
  22. the developer of Numerit û an intuitive programming environment 
  23. for developing numerical computation programs and producing 
  24. publication-quality technical documents. You can visit NumeritÆs 
  25. web-site by right-clicking the tinySpell icon in the system tray 
  26. and selecting the item www.numerit.com. This is also the web-site 
  27. for downloading tinySpell and its updates.

  29. Installation
  30. ============
  31. Open the zip file and run the setup.exe program. Follow the 
  32. instructions on the screen and click Next until the installation 
  33. is complete. After installation, the item tinySpell appears in 
  34. the Start->Programs menu. 
  35. You don't have to uninstall the previous version of tinySpell 
  36. before installing this version (note that uninstalling tinySpell 
  37. removes its dictionary including the words you added to it).
  38. To start tinySpell: click Start, select Programs->tinySpell, and 
  39. click tinySpell. You may uninstall tinySpell by clicking the item 
  40. Uninstall tinySpell in Start->Programs->tinySpell or by using 
  41. Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.

  43. Note that after installation, all tinySpell's options are enabled.
  44. To set/reset options right-click the tinySpell icon in the system 
  45. tray and select Settings.

  47. Distribution Status

  49. tinySpell may be freely distributed, but note that it is still 
  50. protected by copyright laws. You may only redistribute the whole 
  51. package including all the components as originally received and 
  52. without removing any copyright or proprietary notices from it.
