- LYNQ TROUBLESHOOTING
-
- ========================================================
-
-
- Problem: "Cannot find file" message appears, and LYNQ quits.
-
- Cause: There are files missing in your Lynq directory.
-
- Solution: Re-install Lynq. Make sure you have a complete version.
- Shareware versions can be downloaded from a variety of sources
- which are listed at the end of this document. If you are missing files
- from your registered version, contact technical support.
-

-
- Problem: "Not enough Memory" message appears and LYNQ quits.
-
- Cause: There is not enough system RAM currently available to run LYNQ.
-
- Solution: Run SETUP and enable virtual memory, setting the memory to
- the amount of actual memory in your machine. If you are running SMARTDRV,
- you can set it so it uses less system RAM. If you don't have at least 4 Meg of
- system RAM, you won't have much luck running LYNQ
-
- Cause: LYNQ is being run from another application such as DOSSHELL,
- which won't release memory to LYNQ.
-
- Solution: Run Lynq files from the DOS PROMPT only.
-
- ========================================================
-
- Problem: I have a mouse, but there is no mouse cursor on my screen.
-
- Cause: Mouse drivers have not been installed.
-
- Solution: Install the mouse drivers. Usually as easy as typing the
- command MOUSE at the command line prompt. If you have a mouse
- which uses different drivers, consult your hardware user manual and
- find the name of the DOS mouse driver.

- soundcard's user manual.
-
- Cause: The FM sound card is not Adlib or SoundBlaster compatible.

- or SoundBlaster FM compatible.
