  38. 1)  SETTING UP THE PROGRAM
  39.  
  40. Although it is not required, a setup utility
  41. (Setup.exe) has been provided along with this
  42. program that will automatically copy the program
  43. files to your hard disk and setup a program
  44. group in the Start menu.
  45.  
  46. To start the installation, double-click the file
  47. Setup.exe.
  48.  
  49. NOTE:  If you are using the first version of 
  50. Windows 95 then you might get an error saying 
  51. that "SetupAPI.DLL is missing."  This is because
  52. this file, SetupAPI.DLL, was not part of the first
  53. version of Windows 95.  If you find yourself in
  54. this situation then you can do one of the following:
  55.  
  56. a)  Install manually:
  57. Simply copy all of the files to any folder on your hard disk.  
  58. We suggest that you first create a new folder named Deuces
  59. Wild and put the files in this new folder.  
  60. Now, right click on the file DeucesWild.exe and select
  61. "Create Shortcut" from the popup menu.  Now, drag the
  62. new shortcut to your desktop.  You can double-click
  63. this shortcut to start Deuces Wild.

  65. b)  Go to the Microsoft web site and download the Windows
  66. Socket 2 Update.  The URL for that file is:

  70. After installing the update, restart the setup application
  71. for Deuces Wild.

  75. 2)  UNINSTALLING THE PROGRAM

  77. To uninstall this program after having installed
  78. it using the provided setup utility, go to the
  79. Windows Control Panel and double-click the
  80. Add/Remove Programs icon.  Then find the name of
  81. this program in the program group list, select it,
  82. and then press the Add/Remove... button.

  86. 3)  RUNNING THE PROGRAM WITHOUT INSTALLING IT

  88. To run the program without installing it using the
  89. provided setup utility, simply double-click the
  90. program file, DeucesWild.exe.

  117. 5)  USING THE PROGRAM MENU

  119. Once you've started Deuces Wild you'll notice that
  120. there is no main menu, instead you can right-click
  121. to activate the program's popup menu where you
  122. can access the program's features.
