  3.                         INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS.

  6.         Before using compact.ocx you must first register it.
  7.         Please follow the instructions below before starting to use
  8.         the ocx.

  11.         1) Copy COMPACT.OCX, REGSVR32.EXE,OC30.DLL,MSVCRT20.DLL,MFCANS32.DLL 
  12.            to your system Directory. 
  13.            If you are using NT use your system32 directory.
  14.  
  15.         2) In your windows directory or winnt35 directory
  16.            copy OC30.DLL,MSVCRT20.DLL,MFCANS32.DLL these
  17.            files are needed for the OCX to work.
  18.  
  19.            In your windows\system or winnt35\system32  
  20.            copy COMPACT.OCX then register the OCX with
  21.            the following command: REGSVR32 COMPACT.OCX
  22.

  24.         This will register the OCX with WIN95 or NT 3.51. This is needed otherwise
  25.         the OCX will not work.
  26.  
  27.         A demo program is also supplied (VB 4.0 32) to show you how easy it is to 
  28.         compress and decompress a file. 
  29.  
  30.         If you build a program using the OCX you will have to include the four
  31.         files you just registered into your system.
