  17.    catalog.You can choose from a variety of display modes.

  19. *  Ability to restore files or extract files from archives. WinCat/PRO
  20.    interfaces to all DOS and Windows unarchive utilities (like ARJ, LHA,
  21.    PKUNZIP, WUNA, WINZIP etc.) and other programs using user-defined

  52. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  53. -------------------
  54. In order to run properly, WinCat/PRO requires
  55.  * MicroSoft Windows 3.1 or Windows for Workgroups 3.11
  56.  * (S)VGA display mode (EGA mode not supported)
  57.  * at least 4 MB memory
  58.  * at least 2 MB space on your harddisk
  59.  * at least 1 diskdrive, harddisk or CD-ROM drive
  60.  
  61. Recommended :
  62.  * Mouse or other pointing device
  63.  * WinZip ((c) Nico Mak Computing, Inc.) for extracting archive files
  64.  
  65. Optional :
  66.  * if you want to print disklabels : a printer capable of printing graphics

  69. INSTALLATION
  70. ------------
  71. The easiest (and recommended) way to install WinCat/PRO is to use the
  72. INSTALL program.
  73.

  75. MANUAL INSTALLATION
  76. -------------------
  77. If you don't want to use the automatic installation procedure, you
  78. can install WinCat/PRO this way. Refer to WINCAT.HLP for more information.
  79.  
  80. 1) create directory C:\WINCAT
  81. 2) create directory C:\WINCAT\ARCHIVES
  82. 3) copy the files to the C:\WINCAT directory
  83. 4) Rename file INSTALL.BIN to INSTALL.ZIP 
  84. 5) extract INSTALL.ZIP into C:\WINCAT (using PKUNZIP)
  85. 6) edit WINCATRS.BAT (specify directory of LHA, ARJ and PKUNZIP.EXE)
  86. 7) move file CTL3DV2.DLL to the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory
  87. 8) add WINCAT.EXE and WOODLE.EXE to a Windows program group
  88.    (specify C:\WINCAT as 'working directory')
