  24.   Before we begin, let us explain what Epinicion is.  Epinicion is a song
  25.   written by John Paulson.  Mr. Paulson's song is derived from ancient
  26.   Greek hymns sung by warriors as they cleared the dead off the battlefields
  27.   after a victory.  I grew tired if being in groups where everyone slacked
  28.   off and being treated either as a nobody or a 'trial member' so I decided
  29.   to start my own group on March 21, 1994.  Well, we're looking at a solid
  30.   30+ member organization now, and I'm proud to say we're striving to do the
  31.   best we can, no matter what anyone says about us.  Hello everyone. =)

  122.   We would like to invite anyone that wishes to join, even learn about
  123.   music, to join Epinicion.  We have over 11 years of musical experience
  124.   in several of our members, studying various instruments.  If you need to
  125.   understand musical concepts and whatnot, we can help you, for free.  We're
  126.   not one of those "elite" groups that turn away all new people.  You've
  127.   gotta start somewhere.  Why not here?  You'll have fun, contribute to a
  128.   growing group, and perhaps, even get something out of it!  Ever wanted to
  129.   be able to read music but never had time to learn?  Here's your chance!
  130.   All you have to do is work with us.  How hard could that be?

  132.   Before we go on, we would like to say one thing.  It has come to our
  133.   attention that several BBS's out there (no names will be mentioned here)
  134.   keep adding their own comments and advertising into other people's mods.
  135.   We believe this practice is an intrusion on the creation of the musician.
  136.   If we find ANY of our music altered in this way, we promise that we will
  137.   try our very hardest to do something mean and nasty to you.  Merci. =)

  139.   NOTICE: Our recent merger with VeXT, formerly led by Neurosis, has brought
  140.   an influx of talented people into Epinicion.  If you are a former member
  141.   of VeXT that does not wish to be a part of Epinicion, please notify us as
  142.   soon as possible at the internet or regular addresses below.  But we
  143.   would encourage you to please stay, and work in Epinicion what you planned

  152.   We hope you will enjoy the wide variety of songs included here.  Epinicion
  153.   will expand and develop as our group and musicians mature.

  155.   Contact me anywhere you can find me if you wish to join.  All you need
  156.   to have is some basic knowledge of music or coding, and the desire to
  157.   work for the group.  As you may have noticed, we don't have a senior staff
  158.   or otherwise.  We work together collectively as a whole.  We are a team.
  159.   We don't bother to distinguish other members of the groups as higher or
  160.   lower than the other.  This is the only way that a good group should be
  161.   operated.  Working together, working as equals.  As of now, we've ditched
  162.   the "application generator."  Anyone who wishes to join, please contact
  163.   me DIRECTLY either through internet at the address below, the regular
  164.   address (please enclose a self addressed stamped envelope), and through
