  1.                   Toshinden Battle Arena
  2.           Matrox Mystique Accelerated Version 1.0

  5. This is the update patch to the retail version of Toshinden that will
  6. accelerate it on the Matrox Mystique card. It will run on 2 or 4Mb 
  7. boards.
  8.  
  9. Installing the MGA Mystique patch for Toshinden Battle Arena:
  10.  
  11. 1) Install the original game.  If installing under Win95, the game will then
  12. run automatically after the installation is complete.  Please exit the game at
  13. this point as the Mystique patch is not yet enabled.

  15. 2) Unzip the tsd_mys.zip file in your Toshinden game directory.  The following
  16. files should be overwritten: tsd.exe & tsd.pif.
  17.  
  18. 3) When running under Win95, a shortcut could be create on the Win95 desktop.
  19. This shortcut will point to the tsd.pif file which has the required MS-DOS box
  20. properties.  Note that switching to the Win95 desktop while the game is
  21. running will terminate the game.

  23. 4) When running under regular DOS, run the game with the following command
  24. line:  'tsd -mys'.
  25.  
  26. NOTE: Starting the game via the autorun feature of the CD will not call the
  27. game with the '-mys' command line parameter. Do not start the game via this
  28. parameter, but rather via method outlined above.
