Zig came to WNSA 107.7 FM with a great deal of experience in sports talk radio at the national level. Most recently he has worked as an update anchor for Talk America Radio Network out of Las Vegas, Nevada.
As a broadcast personality on Sports Fan Radio for over six years, Zig hosted various shows including the popular hockey program, "Inside the Crease". He also provided news and score updates and wrote columns for the network's website as well as Sports Weekly Journal and NHLTalk.com.
From 1992-94, Zig hosted a nightly call-in and interview show for One-on-One Sports. He also worked as an announcer for Scorephones / Pickphones for seven years into the early '90s.
His experiences include covering two Super Bowls, a couple of Kentucky Derbies and the 1999 NCAA Football Championship. He is an admitted '70s bandwagon jumper as a fan of the Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics, Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Reds.
Zig's interests include travel, attending church and going to sporting events even when he is not working.
