  5. Since a lot of people have problems installing Directx 5.0, I have inclosed this text file.
  6. This was NOT written by Microsoft, but by me, Jesper Noergaard.
  7. I hope this will help you out!

  9. 1: Make a temp directory on your Harddrive.
  10. 2: Run winzip or just a dos prompt unzip, but remember to run it with the -d option!
  11. like this: Pkunzip -d directx5.zip
  12. 3: After the file is unzipped, there should be a directory called Redist under the temp 
  13. directory. Go to this directory, and you will find a directory called Directx. Go to
  14. this directory and run DXSETUP.
  15. 4: A meny box will apear. Choose Reinstall Directx. It will then prompt you for a reboot.
  16. 5: After the system has rebooted, directx 5.0 is installed!
