  6. Vendors who wish to distribute the WinZip Self-Extractor 2.0 package,
  7. including an extract from the license agreement and suggested program
  8. descriptions and keywords.

  14. The following paragraph is an extract from the license agreement
  15. regarding the distribution of the Shareware version of WinZip:

  17.     You are specifically prohibited from charging, or requesting
  18.     donations, for any such copies, however made; and from distributing
  19.     the software and/or documentation with other products (commercial or
  20.     otherwise) without prior written permission, with one exception:

  35. Do you need to send files to end users who may not have an unzip
  36. utility?  If so, try WinZip Self-Extractor, an optional add-on for
  37. WinZip.  WinZip Self-Extractor creates native Windows self-extracting
  38. ZIP files.  End users without an unzip program can just double click on
  39. a self-extracting ZIP file to unzip it with a familiar Windows
  40. interface.  A self-extracting ZIP file is an executable program that
  41. includes your ZIP file and a small unzip program (less than 12 kb) that
  42. will extract the contents of the ZIP file.  Because no separate unzip
  43. program is needed, self-extracting ZIP files are ideal for sending
  44. software, documents, or graphic images to colleagues or clients who may
  45. be unfamiliar with data compression.

  51.    * 16-bit Windows headers with Windows 95 long filename support

  54.    such as the ability to specify an icon and text for the main dialog
  55.    box, and to delete temporary files after running a setup program.
