  5. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  6.  
  7.   WinChess requires a 386 computer with Windows 3.x installed
  8.   and a graphics adapter capable of displaying 256 colors. A
  9.   graphics adapter capable of displaying 32,000 colors is
  10.   recommended.

  12. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
  13.  
  14.   WinChess must be installed onto a hard disk or floppy
  15.   disk with at least 960KB free space.
  16.  
  17.   1. Go to a DOS command line.
  18.   
  19.   2. Create a temporary directory to uncompress WinChess into.
  20.  
  21.   3. Un-Compress WCHESS25.xxx into that directory. 
  22.      Where xxx is the compression's extention.
  23.      (ZIP and ARJ are common compression programs used)
  24.  
  25.   4. Go into that directory and run SETUP.BAT.
  26.  
  27.   5. Go into Windows and either double click on the WINCHESS.EXE file
  28.      in File Manager, or add an icon for WinChess into a group by
  29.      choosing New from the File Menu.
