  7. THE SHAREWARE CONCEPT

  9.   Shareware is licensed commercial software which the authors make available
  10.   on a try-before-you-buy basis.  Users may evaluate a Shareware product for a
  11.   period usually between 30 and 90 days, by the end of which they must either
  12.   pay for the product (known as Registration) or stop using it.
  13.  
  14.   Copying of Shareware, subject to the above conditions, is not only allowed,
  15.   it is encouraged.  Pass copies on to interested friends and colleagues.
  16.   Shareware authors rely on the integrity of users to abide by the conditions
  17.   of the license, and register the product if they want to continue using it.
  18.   Many, like ARK ANGLES, also give added benefits to users who register.

  21. ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

  23.   This program is Shareware, and may be freely copied and distributed subject
  24.   to the terms described in the VENDOR.TXT file.  The program may be tried out
  25.   for up to 60 days without charge, after which time users should register it
  26.   or cease to use it.

  28.   Note that Shareware does not mean Freeware or Public Domain.  This program
  29.   is licensed software, and copying or using it without paying for it, except
  30.   as provided above, is a breach of copyright.

  33. WHY REGISTER?

  35.   As stated, the license for this product entitles you to try it out for up to
  36.   60 days.  Use of the unregistered product beyond that period is a breach of
  37.   copyright and is against the law.  But apart from the legal obligation,
  38.   there are many benefits to be gained from registering.  You will receive:

  40.    o  a copy of the latest version of the program, plus
  41.    o  no reminder messages, plus
  42.    o  a printed manual, plus
  43.    o  a bonus program, plus
  44.    o  12 months support direct from the author, plus
  45.    o  periodic news and upgrade information, plus
  46.    o  the satisfaction of supporting value software through Shareware.

  51.   Australian registration is A$20 shipped anywhere in the country.
  52.   International registration is A$24, US$20, £12.50, Dm33, ¥2000 shipped
  53.   anywhere in the world.  Wholesale and quantity discounts are available.

  55.   Registration gives a license for use of the program by one user or on
  56.   one machine, and entitles you to all the benefits listed above.  Special
  57.   licensing arrangements are available for schools or businesses or anywhere
  58.   there are multiple machines or users at the one site.

  60.   Updates are released regularly, and unregistered copies of the latest
  61.   version are available from ARK ANGLES for just a shipping charge of $5
  62.   each, or from many good Shareware vendors.

  67. HOW TO REGISTER

  69.   Nothing is simpler.  We accept cash (of course), cheques (but may wait for
  70.   them to clear if they are large amounts), credit cards (Bankcard, Visa or
  71.   Mastercard only), bank drafts or postal/money orders.

  73.   Credit cards will always be billed in Australian dollars (A$) so you get
  74.   the latest and best exchange rate.  Cash, cheques, drafts etc can be in
  75.   Australian dollars or your local currency.  Calculate local currency prices
  76.   from any of the published International prices at the current exchange rate.

  78.   There are four easy ways to register:

  80.   1. PHONE:  Get your credit card ready, and the details of your equipment as
  81.      listed in the ORDERFRM.TXT file.  Then call (047)588100 for Australian
  82.      customers or Intl+61-47-588100 for International customers, and leave
  83.      your ordering information with the operator or answering machine.

  85.   2. FAX:  If you have a fax card on your computer, then simply edit the file
  86.      ORDERFRM.TXT with all the necessary information, otherwise print it and
  87.      fill it in manually.  Make sure all your credit card info is there, then
  88.      fax it to (047)588638 for Australian customers or Intl+61-47-588638 for
  89.      International customers.

  91.   3. POST:  Print ORDERFRM.TXT and fill it in.  Include your credit card
  92.      details or a cheque, draft or money order, and post the lot to
  93.      ARK ANGLES at P O Box 190, Hazelbrook NSW 2779, Australia.

  95.   4. E-MAIL:  Insert ORDERFRM.TXT into a note, fill it in with your credit
  96.      card information, and send it to 100237.141@compuserve.com on Internet

  112.   to registered users for 12 months.  This includes direct access to the
  113.   author and/or distributor by mail, phone and fax, plus notification of any
  114.   fixes and new releases.

  116.   Feedback about all our programs is always appreciated.  The first registered
  117.   user to suggest a new function or other improvement will, if the suggestion
  118.   is adopted, receive a free upgrade to the first version that includes that
  119.   function, in addition to any other upgrades they are entitled to.

  146.   workmanship, and that the program works largely in accordance with its
  147.   documentation.  This warranty is effective for three months from date of
  148.   registration, and is not transferrable.

  150.   No liability is accepted for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused by
  151.   the use of this product.  No warranty is made that it is suitable for any
  152.   particular person or purpose.  If this product is useful to you then please
  153.   register it, otherwise don't use it and don't pay for it.

  156.   to either a refund of the registration paid, a replacement of the physical
