- HOW TO INSTALL
- ==============
- 1) Double-click the file REMOTE.EXE. This will cause it to
- de-compress itself.

- * CAUTION! Make sure that you are running this *
- * .EXE file in an empty folder or on a blank *
- * formatted diskette! *

- * DO NOT run this .EXE file in your \WINDOWS *
- * or \WINDOWS\SYSTEM folder! *

- 2) To install this service, use the Network option in Control
- Panel, click the Add button, select Service as the type of
- network component to install, click the Add button, click
- the Have Disk button, and install from the folder that
- REMOTE.EXE was run. (Similar directions are in the
- REGSERV.TXT file.)

- 3) Once you have installed the files, you can delete the
- REMOTE.EXE file.

- NOTES:

- The local and remote computers must each be running the Remote
- Registry service, and user-level security must be enabled on
- the computer you are administering. To change the Registry,
- you can use Registry Editor or System Policy Editor.
