  4. Install this software on Windows 95 computers to allow administrators
  5. to change Registry entries on other computers over the network.

  15. HOW TO INSTALL
  16. ==============
  17. 1) Double-click the file REMOTE.EXE. This will cause it to 
  18.    de-compress itself.

  21.     *    CAUTION!  Make sure that you are running this    *
  22.     *    .EXE file in an empty folder or on a blank       *
  23.     *    formatted diskette!                              *

  25.     *    DO NOT run this .EXE file in your \WINDOWS       *
  26.     *    or \WINDOWS\SYSTEM folder!                       *

  30. 2) To install this service, use the Network option in Control 
  31.    Panel, click the Add button, select Service as the type of 
  32.    network component to install, click the Add button, click 
  33.    the Have Disk button, and install from the folder that
  34.    REMOTE.EXE was run. (Similar directions are in the 
  35.    REGSERV.TXT file.)

  37. 3) Once you have installed the files, you can delete the 
  38.    REMOTE.EXE file.

  40. NOTES:
  41.  
  42. The local and remote computers must each be running the Remote 
  43. Registry service, and user-level security must be enabled on 
  44. the computer you are administering. To change the Registry, 
  45. you can use Registry Editor or System Policy Editor.
  46.
