- apcmag.cd autorun help file
- ===========================
-
- Problems with the autorun feature can occur when:
-
- - A browser fails to correctly register themselves with Windows during installation
- - The default browser association link has become broken. This can occur when more than one
- type of browser has been installed/uninstalled (ie. you have installed both IE and Netscape
- and then may have uninstalled one later)
-
- The problems can be fixed by:
-
- - Re-registering your favourite browser as the default browser. When launching your browser,
- there should be an option asking you whether you wish to make this browser your default browser.
- Otherwise, you may need to reinstall your favourite browser to re-register it as the default.
-
- If this does not solve the autorun error then apcmag.cd will be unable to automatically start your
- favourite browser to browse the CD. Apcmag.cd will automatically detect that it will be unable
- to start your favourite browser and it will prompt you and ask you if you want to disable
- autorun for apcmag.cd only. By selecting to disable autorun you will no longer receive errors
- from apcmag.cd and all your normal autorun CDs will work fine. If you choose to disable autorun
- you will have to manually launch your browser and type "d:/default.htm" where "d" is the letter
- of your CD ROM drive.
