  1. Hotshot Type 1 PostScript Font

  3. Here is a font IÕve been mucking around with that is based 
  4. on scans from a 1930s sign-painting manual. ItÕs more an 
  5. experiment than anything else, but it looks nice, I think, 
  6. for short titles or display art used 18 points or larger. 
  7. ThereÕs only a 24-point bitmap because I assume that you, 
  8. like me, use ATM and wouldnÕt try using Hotshot at 10 
  9. points (it would be foolish). Hotshot is free and can be 
  10. given to anyone as long as you donÕt mess with it or remove 
  11. this Readme file. Hotshot was created in Fontographer 3.1; 
  12. if anyone out there wants to change or improve it, please 
  13. send me a copy and let me know first (IÕll even send you or 
  14. upload you a copy of the original Fontographer file if you 
  15. like). Thanks. Companies like Educorp are welcome to 
  16. distribute this font ONLY IF they send me a free copy of 
  17. the disk they sell it on.
