- INSTALLING ATM FONTS
- ====================
- ATM Fonts must be installed through Windows 3.0. First, double click on the
- ADOBE Type Manager Icon to bring up the ATM Control Panel. Next, double click
- the Add button to bring up the Add ATM Fonts Window. In the Directories Box,
- double click on the first directory entry to display your drive selections.
- Double click on the desired drive (the drive that you placed your ATM Fonts
- disk in). Now, you should see a list of files in the Available Fonts box.
-
- Fonts can be installed individually by highlighting each filename and then
- double clicking the Add button. You can also install everything all at once.
- To install everything, highlight the first filename in the box and hold down
- the left mouse button. Drag the mouse down to scroll to the last file. (All
- of the font names should be highlighted) and then double click on the Add
- button. After you are through adding the desired fonts, click the Exit
- button. A Window's box will appear stating that you must restart Windows for
- your changes to take effect. Once you've exited and then restarted Windows,
- you are ready to begin using your new ATM Fonts for Windows!
-
- **Note: Some applications do not automatically show newly installed fonts.
- If your application does not, select File, Printer Setup, and reconfigure
- your printer. This will force the setup program to look for newly installed
- fonts. For additional information consult your Adobe Type Managers User's
- Manual or call our technical support number which is listed on your invoice.

- POSTSCRIPT PRINTERS
- ===================
- If you have a PostScript printer, make the following change to your win.ini
- file, so that the PostScript driver can find the .pfb file.
-
- In the "softfonts" area you will see:
-
- softfonts(#)=c:\psfonts\fontname.pfm
- -> (#)= the font number in the list
-
- change this to:
-
- softfonts(#)=c:\psfonts\fontname.pfm,c:\psfonts\fontname.pfb
- ^must be a comma!
-
- Now, just restart Windows!
