  1. ROTHMAN TYPE 1 POSTSCRIPT FONT

  3. Rothman is an Art Deco PostScript font containing all alphabetic and numeric
  4. characters and punctuation. It is ATM-compatible. The characters are quite
  5. condensed; the lower-case characters are simply the upper-case characters
  6. squished 50% with the same character widths. Here is a sample of the font at
  7. 144 points:

  13. Rothman was named for George Rothman, the conductor of the Columbia University
  14. Orchestra, and who expressed an interest in the "Empire" font to use for his
  15. publicity. Rothman is based on "Empire."
