  1. Notes on Printers Devil Bodidly Bold, Oswald Black, and Oswald Grey:
  2. These fonts are NOT crippled. They contain full character sets with over one
  3. hundred sixty characters. Fonts contain hinting; over one hundred kerning
  4. pairs are defined. AFM files are included. Bodidly Bold and Oswald Black are
  5. type 1 PostScript fonts and may also be used with ATM on non-PostScript
  6. printers. Oswald Grey, a type 3 font, may only be used on PostScript printers.
  7. It has an 80% grey fill with a black border.

  9. Bodidly Bold and Oswald Black look great in small or large sizes.
  10. I'd recommend using Oswald Grey at 24 points or larger.

  12. The bitmap screenfonts are just your basic Fontographer-generated characters
  13. with minimal touchup. With ATM on the market I'd rather spend my time
  14. polishing up the PostScript file than slaving over an archaic bitmap
  15. screenfont. One suggestion: Oswald Grey is difficult to read on the screen.
  16. Do your composing in Oswald Black (it has the same character size and spacing)
  17. then change the font to Oswald Grey before printing.

  19. Printers Devil fonts are distributed in the spirit of shareware. If you decide
  20. to keep any of these fonts you are required to send a $10 per font registration
  21. fee to:

  25. Please indicate what font(s) you are registering. Maryland residents should
  26. include 5% sales tax.

  28. These products may be distributed freely as long as the following conditions
  29. are met: The files may not be modified and this notice must be included with
  30. each font or group of Printer Devil fonts; Fonts may be included on
  31. collections of Public Domain and Shareware disks providing that no more than
  32. $7 is charged for the disk.

  34. The Bottom Line: We will continue to release laser fonts in a non-crippled
  35. format as long as there is a fair response to the registration fee.
