  18.     VMEM IS A VIRTUAL MEMORY TOOL FOR ALL AMIGAS WITH WORKBENCH 2.0 OR
  19. HIGHER. IT PROVIDES A WAY FOR PROGRAMS TO USE MORE MEMORY THAN IS ACTUALLY
  20. AVAILABLE ON YOUR SYSTEM. UNFORTUNATELY, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR VMEM TO FORCE
  21. PROGRAMS TO USE VIRTUAL MEMORY ON NORMAL AMIGAS (THAT REQUIRES A SPECIAL CHIP
  22. WHICH IS ONLY PRESENT ON AMIGA 3000s AND 4000/040s, SO THEY HAVE TO BE
  23. SPECIFICALLY WRITTEN TO USE IT. HOWEVER, BY THE TIME YOU READ THIS, THERE
  24. COULD BE LOTS OF PROGRAMS THAT USE IT. (YOU MIGHT EVEN HAVE GOT VMEM WITH
  25. SOME PROGRAM THAT USES IT.)

  28.     This is the manual for the VMEM INSTALL PROGRAM. To run VMEM INSTALL,
  29. just double-click on it's icon,and you will be presented with a "welcome"
  30. message. Read this, and hit the "OK" gadget,and a requester will appear with
  31. the following options at the bottom:

  34.     NOVICE:         Click this gadget if you don't know much about the AMIGA
  35.                     or you just want to get VMem going and aren't interested
  36.                     in special options. (Everything will be done
  37.                     automatically).

  39.     INTERMEDIATE:   Click this gadget if you know a bit about the AMIGA,and
  40.                     want a bit more control over which files will be installed,
  41.                     and where.
  42.  
  43.     ADVANCED:       Click this gadget if you know the amiga 'inside-out' and
  44.                     want total control over the installation proceedure.
  45.                     (What files you want installed, and where each one will
  46.                     go).

  49.     NOTE TO PROGRAMMERS:

  51.             You must select INTERMEDIATE or ADVANCED if you want the option
  52.     of installing the programming files.

  54.         (AUTODOCS:,INCLUDE:,and FD: should be assigned properly,although you
  55.     can choose to select a different directory from within VMEM INSTALL.)
