- VideoCreator CD32 AGA . A1200 HD Fixed Version - CatLorD/LSd Jan '95
- --------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- At long last, here is Almathera's VideoCreator. I have NOT included all of
- the pictures, there are far too many of 'em, I only included the pictures
- required for the example videos only. (the MPEG example not included)
-
- This system should operate directly after unpacking, but there are a few
- libraries, devices, fonts & datatypes you may wish to copy to your main
- drawers. If you do this, remove the assign adds from the VCStartup script.
- The lines you need to remove are marked with a ;**** after them.
- (You don't HAVE to do this, if you are unsure about what I'm talking about
- then forget it, it will still work fine.)
-
- Bog standard A1200's with 2MB of chip, may struggle for memory. If this is
- so then do the following to run VideoCreator.
-
- Get to your Boot Options screen.
- Disable all unwanted drives, (DF0: CC0: DH45: etc.)
- Boot with no startup-sequence
- Enter the follwing commands:
-
- setpatch >nil:
- assign libs: sys:classes add
- assign env: ram:
- assign t: ram:
- loadwb
- endcli (reactivate the shell after the workbench appears of course.)
-
- Once the Workbench appears load up VideoCreator. You should have ample
- memory now. You may want to set up a script file to do this, or perhaps
- you ought to buy some fast mem you tight git.
-
- Now I am of course assuming that your WorkBench is correctly set up, cos
- if it aint then it won't work. Mostly check that your datatypes are all
- installed correctly, and the relavent assign to the Classes drawer is being
- made in your startup-sequence. The standard WB installation will work OK.
-
- Ok that's about it. Have a happy new year. Enjoy.
