  4. This is MovieGuide Pro release 1.1, release date 27-Apr-1995.
  5. A number of bugs were found in 1.02, and a couple of new features 
  6. has been added in this version.

  9. New features
  10. ============
  11.  
  12. * A rather neat new feature has been added. It enables you to list a
  13. filmography on your search string. To do this, you should choose
  14. ALL as searchflag, using the 'roll-button menu' (its default is
  15. DK TITLE). Instead of the movies' genres, the window containing
  16. the titles found on the current search string, there'll now be listed
  17. the person's participation(s) in the movie, e.g. searching on Steven
  18. Spielberg under Sci-Fi, will give you (among others):
  19. 1977 CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND                 DIRECTOR/WRITER

  21. * A KEEP button has been added, so you can search several times, keeping
  22. the titles that you've found on your previous search(es).
  23.  
  24. * Proper printout type has been added. E.g., if title-list was generated
  25. using RECOMMENDED, it'll state so, in the printout. The new ALL-feature
  26. results in a 'Filmography on [name]' output.

  29. Bugfixes:
  30. =========

  32. - In NOVICE MODE, clicking with the right mouse button on names on
  33. the extended credits screen, didn't work; the name wouldn't be moved
  34. to the search-string, and the searchflag wasn't set.
  35.  
  36. - There was an error in the search-routines, so if you searched on
  37. any of the extended credits (composer, editor etc), it wouldn't look
  38. in the EUROPE file!
  39.  
  40. - Minor bug in the 'roll-button' fixed.
  41.  
  42. - GUI bug in NOVICE MODE when clicking right mouse button on a director
  43. or a cast member, when the current search-flag was set to one of the 
  44. extended credits. The same applies to EXPERT MODE, only it's the left
  45. mouse button instead!
  46.  
  47. - A bug resulting in some TOPICS only searching through the ticked on
  48. genres/countries has been corrected - now TOPICS ignores your settings.

  50. - The production company Metro-Goldwyn-Meyer was corrected to Metro-
  51. Goldwyn-Mayer!;-)

  53. - An error in the topic-window, causing an old topic-description to
  54. still be there, when viewing another title, has been fixed.

  57. Known bugs:
  58. The graphic/browser bug is still there, and apparently a bug where
  59. the program suddenly quits, after using topics in some way, exists!
  60. Thanks to Tomas Larsson for finding that one! I've seen it myself,
  61. but have not been able to make the program do it again, and therefore
  62. I can't fix it yet! Of course, it'll be corrected when I know when and
  63. why it occurs.
  64. Also notice that we haven't updated the INTRO to saying MOVIEGUIDE
  65. PRO V1.1, as it really isn't that important to update that on every
  66. release!
