  6. This small package contains an update to the (still) current  ToolManager
  7. 2.1 release. Changes since the last release:

  9.     toolmanager.library  V3.1 - Added support for ScreenNotify
  10.     screennotify.library V1.0 - Notify on screen close/private/public
  11.     WBStart-Handler      V1.4 - Fixed path problems
  12.     toolmanager.doc           - Missing AutoDocs for toolmanager.library

  14. ToolManager  now  supports  ScreenNotify,  a  library  which  sends   out
  15. notifications when a public screen is opened or closed. This  means  that
  16. it is now possible to open docks automatically on a public  screen  after
  17. it has been opened. The docks  will  be  closed  automatically  when  the
  18. screen is closed. Now you can change the screen mode  of  your  Workbench
  19. without manually closing all your ToolManager docks!

  21. The automatic open/close feature only works if  you  specify  the  public
  22. screen name for a dock object. It won't work for dock  objects  with  the
  23. "FrontMost" flag set or for docks which should open on the default public
  24. screen. You must also set the "Activated" flag for the dock object.

  26. Every time a public screen is  opened  ToolManager  will  scan  all  dock
  27. objects and open all docks which have the same public screen name as  the
  28. newly opened screen. When a public screen is  closed  ToolManager  closes
  29. all open docks on this screen and marks them. If  the  public  screen  is
  30. opened again ToolManager will reopen all marked docks.
