  4. (for Mustek Paragon 600 and Epson-GT flatbedscanners)

  6. "PhotoCopy" is a little program which allows you to use your
  7. scanner and printer as a photocopier. The program can be used
  8. for text copies only; for more advanced features like greyscales
  9. or colors, you should use real scan software.

  12. System Requirements
  13. ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
  14. - Amiga with OS 2.04 or higher and at least 2 MB of memory
  15. - Mustek Paragon 600 or Epson-GT flatbedscanner
  16. - for Paragon: suitable SCSI interface (e.g. Squirrel-SCSI, A-4091;
  17.                but not A-2091, Amiga 3000, Fastlane)
  18.   for Epson:   SCSI interface or connection to the parallel port
  19.                (with special cable, see below)
  20. - Printer

  23. Installation
  24. ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
  25. Put the "PhotoCopy" drawer (or just the program itself) somewhere
  26. onto your harddisk.
  27. Then change the tooltypes...

  29. ... if using a SCSI interface:
  30.       set DEVICE and UNIT to the right settings.
  31.       (Depends on your SCSI interface card and the SCSI unit of the
  32.       scanner)

  34. ... if using the parallel port (only with Epson scanners):
  35.       set the tooltype "PARALLEL". "DEVICE" and "UNIT" are
  36.       ignored in this case.

  39. Use

  41. Scale:      If you want the source picture to be enlarged, 
  42.             select 141 % or 200 %.
  43.  
  44. Resolution: The resolution of the scanner. 300 dpi works best.
  45.             The memory requirement depends on the resolution:
  46.                50 dpi ­>  60 kB
  47.               100 dpi ­> 120 kB
  48.               300 dpi ­>   1 MB
  49.               600 dpi ­>   4 MB
  50.             (full page, enlarged pictures need less)

  52. Copy:       Press this button to start copy. The source picture
  53.             is scanned and then printed.
  54.             The printing can be aborted with the menu item
  55.             "Project » Abort Copying".
