  5. This is the first release of my SRAM memory manager.  It allows SRAM to be
  6. backed up to and restored from controller pak memory.  Right now it is a bit
  7. plain, and the interface is a bit clumsy (in particular the backup interface.)
  8. However, I know everyone has been anxiously awaiting a solution to the SRAM
  9. problem, so I decided to put out this "pre-release".

  11. The next version will be integrated into the Doctor V64 BIOS, for near-instant
  12. loads.  It already has code to offer the last file loaded into the Doctor V64
  13. as a backup file name.  The next version will also probably have a delete
  14. function, and perhaps a copy function as well.

  16. Please let me know about any bugs you find; there are bound to be some, even in
  17. such a simple program.  I have occasionally been able to save the same file
  18. name twice, without an overwrite warning.  The file showed up twice in the
  19. directory list.  I haven't seen this in a while, but it may still be in there.
