  7. First  off  all,  please check if my files included in the .LHA archive has
  8. the ORIGINAL lenght:

  19. Hi  to  all!   This  is my first VERY production, a complete package of the
  20. most popular font used in the Amiga-scene!
  21. Yes,  becouse  after my first work, a lot of months ago, i've received much
  22. messages  of  some  users  that  has installed my fonts, and were very very
  23. happy of the new look of the applications!
  24.  
  25. The package is arrived at the 3rd version, and now i've made TWO version of
  26. my fonts:

  28. MeLTeR.font
  29. MeLTeRiBM.font
  30.  
  31. Why??  Simple:  you can use the MeLTeR font in the Workbench screen, and in
  32. ALL  applications  that  DON'T  use  the  ansi-set.   I  use it also in the
  33. AmiExpress  screen,  becouse the boards that running under /X don't use the
  34. IBM-graphics.   Most of all applications can be configurated with this type
  35. of font!

  37. MeLTeRiBM  can  be  used  in  the  programs  like the ANSI-EDITORS, and all
  38. programs that use the ANSI-SET.
  39.  
  40. A  special thing about the TERM or JRCOMM or NCOMM or TERMINUS, that can be
  41. configurated in this mode:
  42.  
  43. - The board running under Amiga (e.g. /X): MELTER
  44. - The board running under PC (e.g. Frontdoor): MELTERIBM
  45.  
  46. You can set the different type of fonts in the PHONEBOOK.

  50. A note for the sysops:  for configure AmiExpress with different fonts, edit
  51. the tooltype of NODEx.info and add this:

  57. OK,  after all this (i hope u've had the patience to read all hehe), i want
  58. to  give the thanks to my friends and write the last notes for the users of
  59. my fonts.

  63. I want precise some thing:

  65. 1) THIS FONTS ARE MAKED WITH THE 'INSPIRATION' OF TWO OTHERS FONTS:
  66.  
  67.    - THE ONE I'VE SEEN IN AN IFF OF THE DOOR 'GLOBAL USER STATUS 1.9', THAT
  68.      I'VE INSTALLED IN MY BOARD;
  69.    - THE ONE I'VE SEEN IN THE FANSI PROGRAM, A KEWL ANSI EDITOR
  70.    - THE ANSI CHARS (IN THE MELTERIBM) ARE THE CHATS THAT I'VE FOUND IN THE
  71.      BBSDRAW.FONT.

  73. With this THREE models, i've maked the definitive version of MeLTeR.font.

  76. 2)  FOR THE CREATION OF THE FONTS, I'VE USED THE MOST SIMPLE PROGRAM THAT I
  77. KNOW  FOR  THE  FONTS  EDITOR:   THE  FED  (AMIGA FONT EDITOR) VERSION 1.3,
  78. INCLUDED IN THE EXTRAS 1.3.

  81. 3)  PLEASE DON'T CHANGE MY FONTS, OR IF YOU WILL DO PLEASE TELL ME WHAT ARE
  82. (OR COULD BE) THE CANGES.
