  9. ObjectArchive is an object oriented (BOOPSI based) system to
  10. standardise archive manipulation.
  11. It allows to 'Mount' archive files, so that a dos device and
  12. a volume are created. A disk icon then appears in the workbench
  13. screen, and you can then access all files within the archive
  14. as if they were on a standard disk volume. Of course, the same
  15. is possible in a shell environement, or directory utility.
  16. It is composed of an archive.library and objects, located in
  17. SYS:Classes/Archives. Some shell commands (ArcList, ArcAdd,
  18. ArcExtract) makes usual archive manipulation identical whichever
  19. the archive format is.
