-
- Description:
- QRT2RW24 is a QRT / DKB to RW24 format converter.
- It wil enable you to create an image file that can be used as an EGS bootlogo.
-
- Usage:
- QRT2RW24 <SOURCE> <DESTINATION>
-
- Remarks:
- The destination has to be different from the source otherwise your original
- will be overwritten!
-
- WARNING! QRT / DKB format images don't have an identifier in de file header
- (unlike IFF) so QRT2RW24 can't check the source file to be a real QRT / DKB
- format!!!
-
- Rename the resulting RW24 image to "bootlogo" and put it in "EGS:egs/Monitors"
- it will be displayed during the next boot.
- You can select the screen resolution in which the bootlogo will be displayed
- with EGS-Tweaker.
-
- The bootlogo is loaded by the EGS graphics card dependent driver, I know that
- the Piccolo and PiccoloSD64 drivers (v7.1 and previous) will load this
- bootlogo but others might not...
-
- To convert a IFF, GIF JPEG ect. to RW24 you must first convert it to a QRT or
- DKB (actually they are the same) image format.
- You can use ADPro to do this and there are some converters on AmiNet that can
- do that job also.
- I believe there's one on AmiNet in gfx/3d/DKBTrace.lha :^)
-
- Have Fun!
