  1. This  'Install.txt' for  Picasso Monitor 2.56  modified from  the  original
  2. posting to  the  Picasso Mailing List and augmented for the listserv by Udo
  3. Schuermann <walrus@wam.umd.edu> to aid in installation:

  5. NOTICE:
  6.     This archive has *not* been  approved by VillageTronic.
  7.     It claims to fix the screen dragging bug mentioned in 2.55.
  8.  
  9. INSTALLING:
  10.     I  *strongly* suggest that you make a backup  copy  of your current
  11.     monitor file.  Your current monitor should be named
  12.  
  13.         DEVS:Monitors/Picasso
  14.  
  15.     Copy this  file  somewhere else.   THEN copy the PICASSO file  from
  16.     this archive over that file.  Reboot!

  18. DISCLAIMER:
  19.     As mentioned above, this version is not an official release, but it
  20.     does seem to fix all of *my* problems.  I used to run Picasso 2.52.
  21.     Compared  to 2.52, 2.55 fixes:  ADPro chunky  display bug  (crash),
  22.     Mand2000 color  cycling, and seems to have  *dramatically* improved
  23.     the stability of PageStream 3.0c when run on a chunky screen.  Your
  24.     mileage may vary.  Good luck, and enjoy!
