  1. WELCOME TO IMAGESTUDIO:
  2. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  3.     This version of ImageStudio is the full program. It is licenced to the
  4.     owner of DrawStudio and has already been registered to you through the
  5.     use of a special keyfile.

  10.     There are a few points of interest you should know before installing
  11. ImageStudio.
  12.  
  13.     o   If you are a registered user of ImageStudio v1.x.x, you
  14.         may upgrade using this version. Simply select the
  15.         'Create keyfile' option in the 'Project' menu of this
  16.         version of ImageStudio. You will be asked to give your
  17.         registered v1.x.x of ImageStudio, from which a personalised
  18.         keyfile will be created. This keyfile will unlock this
  19.         version of ImageStudio to work with full sized images.
  20.  
  21.         For more details, see the 'Upgrading from v1.x.x' in the
  22.         'Introduction' section of the documentation.

  24.     o   The ImageStudio disks must be called "ImageStudio_1",
  25.         "ImageStudio_2" etc... in order for the installer script
  26.         to work.

  28.     o   LX, used to decompress the files during installation, has
  29.         been found to crash on some machines. If you find the installer
  30.         crashes, perform the following:
  31.  
  32.         i)  Make a copy of ImageStudio_1 disk.
  33.         ii) Delete LX from the disk.
  34.         iii)    Copy LHA onto the disk and rename it LX.
  35.         iv) Install again.
  36.  
  37.         This of course assumes that you have the LHA compressor
  38.         program handy. We cannot distribute LHA ourselves, as this
  39.         is not allowed by LHA's author.
