  1. MERGE PATHS: merge objects into a composite object

  4. - Select two or more objects with the Object tool. (Groups
  5.   and text objects cannot be merged.)
  6. - Choose the Merge Paths command. The objects will be
  7.   merged into one object with the attributes of the bottom
  8.   object in the stack of selected objects. Overlapping
