  1. FREEHAND TOOL: sketch smooth paths

  4. - Position the crosshair and drag to start a new path.
  5. - Drag the mouse to sketch the path. Release the mouse
  6.   button to end the segments and to smooth the path.
  7. - Press Esc to end the path or choose the Close Path tool
  8.   to close the path.

  12. - Position the crosshair and click to start a new path.
  13. - Move the crosshair to the end of the first segment.
  14. - Click to end a segment. Continue adding segments.
  15. - Press Esc to smooth the path, or choose the Close path
