  3. Thank you for purchasing DeluxePaint AGA.  Electronic Arts would like
  4. to thank all those customers and beta testers who provided us with great
  5. feedback and reports on how to improve the program.  We would also like
  6. to remind everyone that we are always looking for suggestions on how
  7. to make this program the best it can be.

  9. We want to keep making better versions of DeluxePaint, but remember
  10. piracy and "lending your software" hurts everyone.
  11.

  14. Version 4.6 - Advance release module  - 2/29/93
  15.  
  16. You will need the following to install this patch:
  17.  
  18.  1. Your original DeluxePaint AGA Install Disk 1
  19.  2. Your owner registration card.
  20.  3. Pre-installed DeluxePaint AGA on a hard drive or floppy disk.
  21.  4. An Amiga running Amiga DOS version 2.04 or greater.
  22.  5. Minimum of 1 megabyte free RAM (The patch is executed in RAM)
  23.  
  24. Dpaint.pch is an update module that converts your unregistered DeluxePaint
  25. IV AGA version 4.5 program file to a version 4.6 file.  This new version
  26. adds two special enhancements to DeluxePaint AGA:
  27.  
  28.  1. Improved support for the Trimedia Inc. pressure sensitive 
  29.     graphic tablets.
  30.  
  31.  2. Direct exchange of data in memory between DeluxePaint AGA
  32.     and Art Department Professional version 2.3.
  33.  
  34. Please note that this Patch is being provided as an advanced release
  35. for Trimedia and ASDG customers.  If you have any problems using the
  36. updated version of DeluxePaint AGA with a Trimedia graphics tablet
  37. or ASDG's Art Department Professional, please contact those companies

  54. to see if these problems also exist in version 4.5 before contacting
  55. Customer Support at Electronic Arts.  Our Customer Support will not be
  56. supporting the updated version of this product until it becomes an
  57. official release.  However, we would like to hear your comments so that
  58. we can provide the best possible product to our users.
