  15. Please  note  that  Technical  Support  is  available Monday through Friday
  16. (except  holidays),  10 A.M to 5 P.M.  Central Time.  On Fridays, Technical
  17. Support is unavailable from 1 PM to 2 PM Central Time.

  19. Please  remember  that  you  must  have your ADPro serial number handy when
  20. calling  for  Technical Support.  Select "About..." from the "Project" menu
  21. to display both the release version of ADPro as well as the serial number.

  26. Starting ADPro
  27. --------------
  28. By  default,  ADPro  will  attempt  to release all memory that can be freed
  29. (such  as unused system libraries, fonts, and devices) before attempting to
  30. reserve   memory   for  its  image  buffer.   Using  a  special  tool  type
  31. (NOFLUSHMEM)  or Shell option (NOFLUSHMEM or NF), you can turn this feature
  32. off.   We  have  done  it  this way so as to make it an effort to turn this
  33. feature, which is best left on, off.

  36. PREFPRINTER Saver
  37. -----------------
  38. In  addition  to  the  "Starting  Page:"  control,  you can also specify an
  39. "Ending  Page:" to print.  The "Ending Page:" number will always be greater
  40. than or equal to the "Starting Page:" number.

  46. The  "As  Alpha"  menu item does not appear in the menu.  Its functionality
  47. has been moved to the Compositing control panel as a button.

  50. The PRIMERA_HEAT ARexx command can only take a value between 1 and 96.

  53.                               Troubleshooting
  54.  
  55. Problem:
  56.     When  I  try  to  load an IFF image off of my hard drive, I get the
  57.     message, "Error in body".
  58.  
  59. Cause:
  60.     The MaxTransfer value for your hard drive needs to be changed.
  61.  
  62. Solution:
  63.     Change MaxTransfer to 0xFFFF  (4 Fs).
  64.

  67. Problem:
  68.     When  running  a  pseudo operator (_Emboss, _Fresco, etc.), I get a
  69.     message saying, "ARexx Error:  Error Code = 13".
  70.  
  71. Cause:
  72.     You  either have the Video Toaster software running or you tried to
  73.     execute the _VT_Grab pseudo loader or _VT_Display pseudo saver when
  74.     you  either  didn't  have  the Switcher running or you don't have a
  75.     Toaster  system  installed.   What  is  happening  is that when the
  76.     pseudo  operator  tries  to  call  an  external  function (the CALL
  77.     command),  the  ToasterARexx.port  tries to interpret that function
  78.     (which it doesn't know about) but exits with an error before trying
  79.     to  call  the  actual  script  that  contains  the function (in the
  80.     FREDSCRIPTS:FREDFunctions directory).

  82. Solution:
  83.     Although  you can reboot your machine to solve the problem, you can
  84.     also   type   the   following   from   a   Shell   to   remove  the
  85.     ToasterARexx.port:

  91. Problem:
  92.     I cannot make stamps for my images in FRED.
  93.  
  94. Cause:
  95.     The  render  screen in ADPro is probably selected to a high or true
  96.     color  mode  and  the  screen mode or depth is locked.  FRED cannot
  97.     change this value to the mode and depth required for stamps.
  98.  
  99. Solution:
  100.     Unlock  the  screen mode and depth by unchecking the "Locked Screen
  101.     Mode" and "Lock Depth" menu items under ADPro's "Settings" menu.
