- * It is VERY unwise to run GPFax without it opening the serial port *
- * since your modem may not have the FAX ID and other information set-up *
- * correctly. In this case, you may experience UNRELIABLE operation. *

- * If you plan to run GPFax in a way in which GPFax only opens the *
- * serial port when it needs to receive, then you must have initialised *
- * the modem using the OPENSERIAL INITMODEM CLOSESERIAL commands any *
