  1. This archive contains fMSX Amiga 0.4. fMSX is an emulator for MSX
  2. machines. THIS IS NOT THE FINISHED VERSION. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

  12. I humbly request that if you distribute this archive, you leave the contents

  15. NEW IN VERSION 0.4:
  16.  
  17. -    Joined the ROMs together to one file.
  18. -    The ROMs are now internal, but external ROMs are still possible.
  19. -    It no longer closes and reopens the screen if the new screen has
  20.     the same size and depth as the old one.
  21. -    The GUI has been made font sensitive.
  22. -    Started work on the hardware hitting screen drivers.
  23. -    Changed DoOut, DoIn, and VDPOut to conform to fMSX UNIX 0.7.
  24. -    Added VDP operations directly from fMSX UNIX 0.7.
  25. -    Will load MSX2 ROMs if available. MSX2 BASIC runs, but starting
  26.     takes a long time.
  27. -    Screen 6 implemented (crudely).
  28. -    Fixed the problem with the joystick mechanism. Protector and
  29.     Volguard work fine now.

  31. WHAT I HOPE TO ACHIEVE FOR VERSION 0.5:

  33. -    Disk support.
  34. -    More MSX2 screenmodes.
  35. -    Find out why starting MSX2 BASIC takes so long, and make it faster
  36.     if possible.
