  8. darkNESs is a Nintendo Entertainment System emulator for the Amiga.
  9. It will run on any amiga with a 68020+ and OS 2.0+. It must be run from
  10. the CLI as there is no GUI. It uses the same .NES format for ROM images
  11. that is used by iNES and NESticle (and others) on the PC.

  13. It is currently coded in 100% C, so a fast Amiga is required for it to be
  14. of much use. Of the 130 ROMs that were tested, 102 ran O.K, 15 had some
  15. minor problems but were playable, and 13 did not run at all or were 
  16. unplayable.
