  15. FUNCTION
  16.   A global variable is made, 'num_lock' (default on).
  17.   When this variable is off, a keypress at the numeric keyboard will result
  18. in the alternative functions (ie. Home, Up, PgUp, Ins, Del).
  19.   When this variable is on, the numeric keyboard behaves like normal.  But
  20. you can get the functions by pressing the 'Alt' qualifier and the numeric keyboard.
