- Patching CrossDOS
-
- These patches will only patch your CrossDOS product disk to 6.03 if it
- is one of the following releases:
-
- 6.00 6.01 6.02
- You can identify which release you have by displaying the second line
- in the "READ.ME" file on your product disk.
-
- The following steps should be used to patch successfully.
-
- 1. Make a "diskcopy" of the original CrossDOS product disk. Use the
- copy of CrossDOS for patching ONLY.
-
- 2. Make sure the copy of CrossDOS is named "CrossDOS". Rename the
- disk if necessary. (ie. remove "copy of " or "copy_of_" from the
- name)
-
- 3. From Workbench, double-click on the "Patcher" icon.
-
- 4. Answer the few questions presented. Go get a cup of [..........
- insert your favorite drink here .......].
-
- 5. If you wish to use the updated programs from the product disk, you
- may need to reboot your Amiga to flush the old programs from the
- system. If you previously installed our product, reinstall it again
- and reboot the system. DO NOT reconfigure any CrossDOS hard drives.
- They should work without change.
